About

Donorpoints have
now been in constamt use for over 3 years at a wide variety of charity sites,
and they are proving their worth by generating a significant new income stream
alongside cash donations. The last two years have seen a very considerable
development project to create Mark II Donorpoints, with Chip and Pin capability
and, at the same time, adding significantly more user features such as being
able to offer a choice of targets to the donors. The approval process with the
banks is now complete, and production of the new machines is underway in the
factory…..
Collecting donations has never been easier.
With a
background firmly rooted in development, be it
social or ecological Geoffrey is a forward thinking scientist through
and through, part eccentric inventor, part complete realist—2 traits rarely
found in the same place. Naturally Geoffrey graduated from Oxford with flying
colours. He remembers fondly Tony Blair in his rock and roll days on campus.
Since leaving Mr Blair in his wake, Geoffrey has worked at senior level several
organisations, his time at the Fountain Forestry he is particularly proud of.
Prior to forming Wild Yeast, Geoffrey spent 6 years as Managing Director of
ISP, UK Online heading the company from earliest entrance into the Hi-tec
field, also successfully steering the
ship and all who sailed with her
through and beyond the dotcom
boom and subsequent crash.
Founded in 2002, over the last 4 years, Wild Yeast has become expert in processing card transactions, with many different customers and industries using the software developed specially. This broad customer base ensures that the Donorpoint product is part of a mainstream development program, benefiting from all the associated improvements and features that are constantly being added.
